Other great tunes are "Tears of.", "Killing Time", "Don't Cry", "Not Tomorrow" "I'll Kill You" and "Otherside". Among the highlights is the main theme "Silent Hill" which playing mainly with a mandolin, starts off the soundtrack (and the game) in a powerful and emotional way. Composed by Akira Yamaoka, the music balances between melodic tunes and stylized noise adding a lot to the atmosphere of the game. It also omits the Esperándote song by Rika Muranaka.Ī great deal of the success of Silent Hill comes from the soundtrack of the game.
